Whether you are looking for a certification course to teach prenatal yoga or are just looking to further your education, each intensive will cover a wide variety of topics including asana and modifications, anatomy, pelvic health, pranayama, birth preparation, visualization, group and community support and the postpartum period.
The Nine Moons prenatal yoga teacher training courses provide a unique and comprehensive approach to prenatal yoga, combining fundamental knowledge of anatomy and pregnancy with the beauty and depth of yoga philosophy. Learn how to use yoga to create an ideal pregnancy, delivery and postpartum.
The Nine Moons program is unique in its approach to teaching prenatal yoga. It offers instruction that is grounded in both anatomy and classic yoga philosophy yet boasts ample childbirth education and group support. Teaching Prenatal Yoga:
2 Day Intensive
This intensive is an introduction to teaching prenatal yoga, for those teachers who want to build their skills to better teach prenatal students. It is not a certification course, but is perfect for a student or teacher to begin an exploration of prenatal yoga in a quick, condensed format.

We cover anatomy, asana, childbirth education, teacher development, group support, the culture of birth, meditations, pranayama, social media, marketing and more. Our training is stand-alone and although helpful, no prior yoga training is necessary. Level 2Level 2 Advanced Yoga Alliance Prenatal Yoga and Birth Doula Training
This course is for teachers who are looking to further their education, those that are looking to register for Yoga Alliance, and those looking for Doula training. This module goes deeper into the aspects of teaching presented in Module 1. It covers anatomy, asana, nutrtion, holistic health, doula training, birth positioning, career development and yoga philosophy. It is ideally taken after the level 1 training, but the modules can be taken in any order. You may also choose to attend only the doula portion, if desired. Prerequisites for Yoga Alliance registration:
The modules are designed as stand alone courses and can be taken in any order, however, you must complete both levels to qualify for Yoga Alliance registration.
Doula training is included in the February course only. It is not necessary to take both trainings for doula training.
All hours qualify for continuing education units with Yoga Alliance.
*Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be given at request, less $150 non-refundable deposit to cover administrative and processing fees.
